Roadside Picnic. The "Flying Boot"

Some of the best science fiction I've ever read are certainly the Strugatsky brothers' novels. When I was a child, I dreamed that one would make a movie someday, and I could see what I had imagined with my own eyes. There is no movie for today, for better or for worse, I don't know. But, nevertheless, as part of my usual practice, in my free time, I decided to make some designs for the first of the novels, which I read when I was, I think, 11 years old, and which I reread at least twenty times. ''Roadside Picnic''. The novel inspired Tarkovsky to create his film "Stalker". The novel had a critical influence on the creation and development of the universe of the Ukrainian S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game.
Today, there will be some designs for a "galosh", ''flying boot'' in English adaptation - a vehicle used by employees of the Harmont International Institute of Extraterrestrial Cultures for expeditions into the Zone.
